Location fab easy walk into sights Lovely clean modern apartment. Maybe as we where arriving 4am sofa bed could have been made up and extra quilt as we used one to lie on as sofa was a little hard.

Incredibly charming 3 story home! Walking distance to everything you want to get to in York but also relatively quiet despite having pubs and restaurants right downstairs. The apartment is spotless and equipped with everything you can think of (except laundry detergent… I wish that was provided). Communication was clear and timely. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again if I had the chance.

Spent a couple nights in this spacious, clean property. Paid parking on the street out front and lots of nearby restaurants, cafés and pubs. Easy access to the wall. Bring ear plugs if it's a race day!

Where are we?

Located within the historic City Walls (with Micklegate Bar traditionally being the gate through which visiting Royals would pass). Great Gate House View is a fabulous place to stay to explore the beautiful City of York and a short walk from the train station.
